Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray – Real Grade Gundam Astray Red Frame 1/144 Scale Model

The Real Grade Gundam Astray Red Frame has a completely new design for its inner frame, based on the idea that a Mobile Suit would not move identically to a human body. The newly designed inner frame corresponds to the skeleton, and the outer frame serves as the muscle structure. Included are the Gerbera Straight katana, a beam rifle, a shield, two beam sabers, and a pilot figure.

Kit Features & Gimmicks:

• Articulation
• Manipulators feature 3+1+1 articulation.
• The head can swivel/tilt on a built-in ball/pivot neck joint.
• Torso can tilt back and forth in a limited manner.
• Shoulder joints can tilt forwards/upwards.
• The shoulders can raise horizontally.
• The upper elbows can rotate.
• Arms and Legs feature double-jointed elbow and knee parts for a wider range of articulation.
• The waist can only rotate 45 degrees.
• The hip joint axis can tilt downwards.
• The upper thigh joints can raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
• The ankle joints can tilt sideways.
• The three-piece feet can pivot.
• Weapons/Other Gimmicks
• The hands are swappable.
• Any of the weapons can be wielded by either the poseable or fixed holding hands. (the latter is recommended for gripping stability)
• The Beam Rifle must be wielded with its respective hand part
• The cockpit hatch can be opened and closed
• The backpack unit can be lowered.
• Beam Rifle can be mounted on the back waist armor.
• Beam Sabers can be optionally removed from the backpack as handheld weapons.The alternate Beam Saber hilts with molded pegs can also be used for gripping stability.
• Gerbera Straight sheath can be mounted via a peg hole on either thigh or on side waist armor via a special connector part (C10).
• Gundam Astray Red Frame can mount onto the Action Base via an adapter.
